Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using RebarMaster SA (the "Platform") you agree to these Terms. If you use the Platform for a company, you confirm you may bind that company.
2. The service
The Platform helps users prepare reinforced concrete detailing drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS) and related exports. It is a drafting and calculation aid, not a structural design service.
3. Accounts
You must give accurate information, keep your password secure and are responsible for everything done under your account. We may suspend accounts used unlawfully or abusively.
4. Subscriptions and trial
Paid plans are billed in South African Rand (ZAR) monthly or annually, inclusive of VAT where applicable. A free trial may be offered without a card; when it ends your projects remain readable but editing may be restricted until you subscribe.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of your projects, drawings and data. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display them only to provide the Platform to you.
6. Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer the Platform, resell access without permission, upload malicious files or infringe third-party rights, including copyright in imported drawings.
7. Professional responsibility
All outputs must be checked and approved by a suitably qualified and registered professional (e.g. ECSA-registered engineer) before construction or fabrication. See our Engineering Disclaimer.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may end the service on reasonable notice. You can export your projects before closure.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction.
